After making a braided keyring to get into the swing, you will learn how to add beads to the braid and use this Japanese technique to make a gorgeous beaded bracelet. There will be a huge variety of seed beads and crystals to choose from as well as some stunning clasps - all included.
CURLY WURLY CUFF
No tools needed! You will learn how to bend the wire by hand to make the frame for the cuff and then wrap a variety of crystal and glass beads into the spaces with thin wire while strengthening the framework. You can choose between aluminium or copper wire and a wide variety of beads to make this glamorous cuff. Just the right thing to complement an outfit when you want to look your best!
You will learn how to make a leaf shaped wire frame with copper or silver plated wire and use thin wire to wrap a variety of beads and crystals in the shape. This pin can be worn on coats, knitted hats and scarves. A pretty project to sparkle in the Spring sun or brighten a dull day.
This workshop is suitable for all levels. We will be making lots of different links, which can be used on their own to make chains or alternated with beads to make necklaces, bracelets and earrings. From a basic figure of 8 link and some of its variations including the Celtic link, we will be moving on to waves, swirls, S-links and perhaps even your very own designer shape. Techniques used include, apart from basic wirework, hammering, texturing, scrolling etc. Various gauges of silver plated and copper wires as well as a large selection of beads and workshop tools are available, so no need to bring anything. You can make as much as you can fit into the time and go home with some lovely and unusual pieces of jewellery.Code: CHAINS
FILLED WIRE FRAME PENDANTS X
Make a frame with chunky wire, hammer to harden and use thin wire to wire in your favourite beads. Stunning look and slightly challenging freestyle design. If you have any favourite small beads you would like to use, bring them along.You will need some wire working experience for this one.
Use a special tool called a Coiling Gizmo and learn how to make:
Short and long coiled beads, multi coloured beads and more. Overlaid beads and round zigzag beads will be a bonus if we can fit them in. These beads can be used to make a necklace, bracelet or earrings – whatever you can fit into the given time. Wires are available in a large variety of colours.
All materials are included in the price and workshop tools provided, so no need to bring anything. You will also receive a colour photo instruction leaflet and a loyalty bonus card.

PLAITED LEATHER STRAP BRACELET/WATCH
Here is something different!
Learn how to make an intriguing plaited leather strap where the ends are intact and only the middle is braided. This can make a bracelet when poppers are added, and if wanted it can be decorated with beads as well.
If used for a watch strap, you will learn how to make bails to fit the watch face to the bracelet and again, it can be embellish with beads (pictures following shortly).
There will be lots of different leathers to work with and once you have learned the technique you are free to develop your own design. There is also a wide variety of watch faces and press studs of different sizes and colours available.
Leather for two items, one watch face and embellishments are included, and more materials can be bought if required.
This workshop is suitable for any level, no experience required, all materials and tools provided, so no need to bring anything.
*GEMSTONE BONSAI TREE
Use gemstone chips and crystal beads and a simple twisting technique to create this beautiful little tree (the picture does not do it justice!). It will probably last longer than a real bonsai (unless you are an expert!). All materials like mini plant pot, gravel, wires and gemstone chips and crystals are included.
HEARTS & KNOTS BRACELET
You will have a choice between copper or silver plated wire as well as a
large variety of heart beads. Make these complicated looking ‘knots’ in a
simple way and accentuate with pretty beads inbetween (it doesn’t have to be
hearts) – a technique that extends into a beautiful necklace and earrings, too.
